Senior Apple Certified Technician &

Manager

Position background: 

Clickon is looking for an experienced Apple Certified Technician to hire for Toronto, East York Store. The Senior Service Technician & Manager represents and supervises the Service department of Clickon Macs, and has a key role to delivering best in class resolutions for our customers and their repairs. The incumbent will demonstrate confident and appropriate technical skills, as well communication skills both verbal and electronically. They have the ability to judge priorities, and multitask to ensure all customers receive a consistent level of assistance, high repairs level and exceptional customer satisfaction. 

Previous experience with Apple products troubleshooting, repairing, IT knowledge and networking is necessary for this role. 

The Certified Senior Service Technician & Manager role will encompass the following: 

Attributes:

  • Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT)
  • Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACIT)
  • MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, iMac, Mac mini, iPhone, Apple Watch products GSX Qualifications in order to service units
  • Strong experience of Global Service Exchange (GSX)
  • Strong Network and cabling experience
  • Network switches and modem management is required
  • Strong experience in computer network management is required
  • Ability to manage, maintain and troubleshoot FileMaker Server v.4.x and up is required
  • BGA re-work and basic soldering knowledge is required

Duties:
  • Solving technical problems presented by customers
  • Repairing all current, vintage and obsolete Apple Products
  • Deploy Windows for BootCamp customers
  • Sharing your passion for technology and Apple products
  • Juggling customer and product issues with a genuine sense of urgency
  • Following detailed written repair and process instruction with ease
  • Managing parts inventory
  • Managing Apple consignment parts inventory
  • Managing Apple Operational Reports and report to the Director
  • Be responsible for Apple Service Excellence score
  • Understanding how to set customer expectations
  • Recognizing the importance of customer communication in the repair process
  • Keeping up to date with the latest products and necessary technical implications (training is required and provided)
  • Working positively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Experience:
  • 10 years background in technology, repairs, or a role requiring close attention to detail
  • 5 years background at Apple Authorised Service Provider or Apple Premium Service Provider
  • Proven Customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Apple qualifications and Certifications
  • Intermediate technical support skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365
  • Apple Script of X Code Programming is an asset
  • Ability to speak Greek is an asset as we are located in Greek Town, Toronto
Salary:
  • $45,000.00 to $55,000.00/year
  • We offer bonuses and incentives for above average work and effort
